Aamir Ahmed : He is a marketer by profession and a Ballroom dancer & trainer by passion. Talking to Aamir is like opening a box of assorted chocolates, every bite lets you into a new perspective he carries around for enjoying life to the fullest.

A graduate from the FORE School of Management, New Delhi, he is a successful businessman in the international trade of exclusive Handmade Carpets and Rugs.

Aamir started Ballrumours Dance Studios in 2002 and over the years it has become one of the most popular dance schools in Delhi-NCR. Aamir started to learn various forms of dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballroom and Latino at the Delhi School of Music. He has been further trained in Japan, Hong Kong and by trainers from America & Singapore.

He has been dancing and teaching for over eight years now. His passion for teaching dance shines through in the classes. A versatile dancer, he thrives in the challenge of teaching people with “two left feet” and overcome their shyness and inhibitions. He has a remarkable knowledge of body language and gives corrective feedback that few others are able to.

Aamir is the first Indian to have been invited as a participant by the Japan Dance Council for Ballroom Dance Competition 2008, held in Tokyo and returned with honours.

Aamir has also written articles on dance for the column ‘Mind, Body & Soul’ in the leading Indian daily, The Times of India & also for 4D Woman magazine. He has choreographed, performed and trained over 8000 dance enthusiasts from varied backgrounds ranging from doctors, top models, lawyers, students and engineers to corporate & media professionals.

He has been invited to judge various dance shows such as Summer Showdown on NDTV Metro Nation, AIIMS Festival, Annual Day, Airtel Festival, Delhi University Inter College Festival, Alcatel Annual Day etc. He has also been conducting Ballroom dance programs on CNBC & NDTV on a regular basis.

Summarizing Aamir’s association with Ballrumours would be easier if quoted in his own words, “One of the great "feel good" hormone makers is my favorite - chocolate - and one other is the "freedom of choice", which everyone needs. Here I’m leading by my choice.”
